Hi Friends!! Today starts the 5th week for me. Can you believe it? Time is flying by …!!! So I am 2ozs away from having lost 10lbs. I made a point to drink as much water as I could but it’s just being stubborn. But you knowwhat … I’m ok with that and am super thankful to have lost 9.8lbs in 4 weeks!!

I have ventured out of my own kitchen on occasion now that I “know” what I am doing. If lunch is provided at work then I’ll take advantage of buildlng a salad and grabbing some chicken if it’s available. I’ve also picked up lunch or dinner a few times now at Chick-Fil-A. I’ll order the chargrilled chicken sandwich without the bun and they are so sweet to accomodate. Depending on how hungry I am then I’ll order a “dinner” salad or the side salad. I love their website because they list the nutritional values and it’s easy to count the carbs. I’ve also eaten out at Cheddar’s. I ordered their lemon pepper chicken without the rice, a side of broccoli and a side salad. I forgot they include a big crescent roll with their salads. My friend was happy to take that off my hands. It’s fun to get out there some and enjoy something different. And when I say different I mean that I didn’t have to cook it. (WOW!! When did I become my mother!!) Ha!!
